Intellectual property (IP) is one of the commitments that Vietnam must make when participating in the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). This is one of the contents of both political and economic importance … contributing to the development of the country, improving the quality of life. But the downside of protection is monopoly, depriving poorer countries of opportunity, especially in essential areas such as ensuring health and human health care.
What are the benefits for Vietnam to implement its commitments on IP in TPP? How are pharmaceuticals and copyrights affected? Are the State management agencies ready for this new playground?
To clarify the above contents as well as what Vietnam needs to do to both integrate actively, ensure respect for the rights of inventor owners and copyright ; while ensuring rational exploitation of technical solutions for people and enterprises to benefit from integration results, the Government Information Portal will organize an online talk show with the theme: “Owning intelligence in TPP “.
